Susan Friedman, Thea Schrack, Sharon Beals, and Brigitte Carnochan show their compelling photographs at The Mumm Napa Gallery in the Napa Valley. "Quatre Femmes Photographes" is on exhibit through March 3, 2013 at their Fine Art Photography Gallery.

Stick Pony was pleased to help Susan Friedman mount her large scale equine images for this show which were then framed. The stunning images were printed on heavy rag stock and measured in the neighborhood of 45" x 50".

Stick Pony recently worked with San Francisco advertising photographer Stan Musilek to mount 10 large scale Type C prints to aluminum with cleated back frames for a new music project for Lou Reed and Metallica called LuLu. The finished panels were fabricated in just a few days, crated and shipped to New York just in time for the opening celebration for the new recording at the Steven Kasher Gallery in New York. See more work from the series at Stan's website www.musilek.com.

Doug Rickard

Lately Stick Pony has had the pleasure to mount a group of Doug Rickard's recent work which was shown at the Stephen Wirtz Gallery in San Francisco this past May. Printed at Dickerman Prints and coming from Rickard's series A New American Picture, Doug uses images sourced from Google street view and recontextualizes them in stunning large format pieces focusing on urban decay.

Rickard's work reveals "... the devastating effects of an increasingly stratified American social structure"

In addition to Rickard's website, he also publishes a blog stocked full of essays, reviews and interviews with fine art photographers.
